Our Title IX and College Discipline practice primarily focuses on litigation and college disciplinary matters but includes grades K-12. Our experience includes state and federal practice, trials, arbitrations, mediations and appeals in commercial litigation and Title IX/college disciplinary matters. We have represented numerous students, both male and female, in over 300 proceedings addressing a broad spectrum of disciplinary matters, including, academic dishonesty, theft, harassment, sexual misconduct, and gender discrimination and have obtained favorable settlements for complainants and respondents involving allegations of sexual misconduct at major U.S. colleges and universities.  We regularly serve a critical advisory role during student disciplinary proceedings.  

Our Title IX and College Discipline department is comprised of Practice Leader and Partner, Kimberly C. Lau, Counsel James Figliozzi, Associates Maxwell Rubin, and Branden Lynn. We understand that time is of the essence when you are faced with defending a disciplinary charge.
