Warshaw Burstein Title IX/College Discipline Group Release Updated Parent and Student Guides for K-12 and University Settings
08/01/2024Warshaw Burstein, LLP today announced the Title IX/College team have released updated parent and student guides to navigate Title IX issues in university and K-12 settings. These guides reflect the new regulations that are now in effect in several states.
The guides include an FAQ format, explain the Title IX process from the accused party and reporting party perspectives, and give specific advice to parents and students regarding what to expect if their child is involved in this process either as a student reporting sexual assault, or a student accused of sexual assault.
They are based on the 2024 Title IX regulations that are now in effect broad- based experience in handling Title IX matters at both the K-12, post-secondary and graduate level.
