Kimberly C. Lau Delivered a Guest Lecture for a Course on “Title IX and Higher Education” at University of Michigan Law School

On November 22nd Title IX and College Discipline leader Kimberly C. Lau was invited as a guest lecturer in University of Michigan Law School seminar, “Title IX and Higher Education.” She discussed prominent Title IX decisions, including Ms. Lau’s successful decision in Feibleman v. Columbia, addressing legal claims and theories commonly raised by respondents.

Ms. Lau discussed significant legal precedent for Title IX respondents, including the importance of basic fairness in Title IX campus disciplinary tribunals as outlined in Feibleman v. Columbia University, Doe v. Brandeis University and Doe v. Purdue University.
